Tech, Tangents & Time Travel (Sort Of)
Born in Germany, now based in Asheville, NC, I’ve called the U.S. home for over 25 years — long enough to appreciate a good burger but still pronounce “Wi-Fi” like a European.
I’m a former musician and DJ who once lived for beats per minute — these days, I trade drum machines for virtual machines. I’ve gone from crafting grooves to building cloud infrastructure, from late-night sets to late-night scripts. It’s still all about flow — just with fewer subwoofers and more servers.
By day, I’m a tech veteran knee-deep in AI and MCP (Model Context Protocol). By night (and weekends), I’m a hobby photographer capturing the candid, the curious, and the completely unplanned.
Also: proud father, snack connoisseur, and Asheville local who knows where to find both mountain views and decent Wi-Fi.
This site is my digital home — a mix of photography, tech experiments, and whatever else I’m into this week. Thanks for dropping by. Stay a while, or at least long enough to click something.
